Half Marathon - A Beautiful Challenge

Our Half Marathon will be held for the the 15th time in 2024. The route is traffic-free and start and ends at Knarvik Stadion. Knarvik Stadion is close to Nordhordlandshallen where you pick up the BIB. The Course goes on roads in Knarvik. There are 6 drinkingstation on the course. This distance has good national and international participation and is Haile Gebrselassie’s favourite.

The halfmaraton is arranged for the 15th time in 2024. The course is car free and you can enjoy great scenery in the eyesight on the way. From the start of Knarvik Stadium, the course goes on roads in Knarvik. The distance has a good participation both nationally and internationally, and is one of Haile Gebrselassie favorite. Age limit 15 years. 

Start: 1100

Awards and prizes: Prizes are awarded to the top three women and men. There are 5-year classes for veterans – from ages 35 and up, whit prices for the winner, of the class.

Youth/junior: ages 15–17, 18–19, 20–22.

Senior: ages 23–34.

THE FJORDVIKING 3 runs in one day

Participate in 5k, 10k  and The Halfmarathon 21k on Saturday 2end of September and you’ll get the title FjordViking. Please note that you need to register for the FjordViking event to take part in the overall competition. 

Prices: The 3 best runners. There will be a FjordViking price to all participants at FjordViking running weekend. 

Lottery prices: You can win a lot of prices on the running number.
